Job Brief
We are seeking an experienced and detailed Senior Quality Assurance Specialist (Web) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards across all web-based projects, including websites, applications, and other digital products. You will work closely with developers, designers, and project managers to identify issues, implement quality assurance processes, and deliver flawless digital experiences. Your expertise will be crucial in developing testing strategies, creating test plans, and executing tests to ensure all digital products meet the required standards of functionality, usability, and performance.
Responsibilities
- Quality Assurance Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance strategies and test plans for web projects to ensure all deliverables meet the highest quality standards.
- Testing and Validation: Conduct functional, usability, performance, and security testing across all web platforms, identifying and documenting any issues or defects.
- Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to streamline the testing process and ensure consistent quality.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with developers, designers, and project managers to ensure alignment on quality standards and address any identified issues or discrepancies.
- Issue Resolution: Identify, track, and manage defects and issues, collaborating with the development team to prioritize and resolve them promptly.
- Quality Metrics: Monitor and report on quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts, and provide actionable insights to improve quality.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance quality assurance processes, tools, and methodologies, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation for all testing activities, including test plans, test cases, test results, and defect logs.
- Training and Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA team members, fostering a culture of quality and excellence within the team.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance for web-based projects, with a focus on websites and digital products.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes, including experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JMeter).
- Proficiency in web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and experience with web development frameworks.
- Solid knowledge of software QA best practices, including functional, usability, performance, and security testing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment and familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
- Candidates must be based in Bali or within a comparable location.
- Experience in a digital agency is highly preferable.
Working Hours
- 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week.
- Day off on weekends (Saturday & Sunday)
